Mandatory Community Payback workshops

Following feedback from the last round of workshops and recent performance feedback, the Community Payback team are planning to hold 6 monthly workshops in each hub.

It is MANDATORY SMT directive that all staff attend who meet the following:

  • Any staff member who have not already attended a workshop
  • Any staff member that is new to the CRC Case Management role
  • Any staff member who has NOT returned an expired Order to Court
  • Any staff member that has cases that are showing on the SL10 tracker

It is also IMPORTANT that IMs attend this workshop so that they can adequately support SCM/CMs in the management/ enforcement of UPW orders and have an overall understanding of UPW

The dates for the next round of roadshows are:

Jan 22nd 10:00 – 12:30 – Group room 1
July 5th 10:00 – 12:30 – Group room 1

Jan 25th 10:00 – 12:30 – Group room 4
July 16th 10:00 – 12:30 –  group room 1

Feb 26th 10:00 – 12:30 – Fareham meeting room
July 2nd 10:00 – 12:30 – Grouproom Grd floor

These workshops will cover:

  • What Community Payback is
  • What work we are doing in HIOW to benefit local communities
  • How decisions are made in placing Service Users to projects/IPs
  • Role and responsibilities (i.e. who does what task)
  • Managing UPW requirements, e.g. ESA claimants, Service Users with diversity needs, shift workers
  • Performance tools to manage UPW requirements e.g. SL10 tracker, UPW diary, UPW worksheet
